Another week has sailed by and I know you’re thinking it should be another edition of the weekly beasties. You are correct, but alas the week got away from me and I didn’t have enough time to execute on the fun idea I had. So rather then do a half-baked shot, I’ll add the idea to my personal project list and post it here in the future.
In place of the weekly beasties, I thought I’d finally get around to posting one of my previous sessions.
This is Fuzz. Isn’t he adorable? Apparently he is what you get when you combine a chihuahua, miniature schnauzer and miniature poodle. A lot of miniature combined to create a magnanimous personality. He should totally be in the movies with his character and scruffy looks. I can picture him leading an entourage of other mutts, saving the day against the evil dog catcher. And then enjoying a hot dog from the cranky food truck guy who Fuzz totally puts under his clever doggy spell with his winsome face. We decided to use a more urban location for his photography session, and I think it suits his personality perfectly…it’s like he owns downtown Calgary!
I actually used a sneak peek of him in an earlier weekly beastie theme, so he may look familiar. One of the photos I used in that post made the top 10 list in the Hair of the Dog’s weekly theme challenge, so that was kind of cool.
Fuzz and his buddy Charlotte (who I will feature in a future post) met me downtown in front of the Bow building. And then we walked around with their human friends for some urban lifestyle photos. Here are some of my favorites.
I hope you enjoyed his cuteness as much as I did. Have a great weekend!
